Having recenty re-installed dreamweaver due to a virus killing it, I’ve lost an extension in the toolbar that saved me a lot of messing around.
It’s a simple tool that adds the image, but also the java code for a pop up function for a slightly different file and adds some basic information such as title/alt tags.
I imagine this is pretty simple but I would need it explained how to add this to the toolbar for easy access.
When an image is added using this button, it creates something similar to the following:
