I’m looking for an effect that looks similar to the attached picture.
It should be possible to add the title and the stars and of course a link on the whole picture (in the HTML, not generated on top of the picture).
The following plugin does most of it, except for the titles, stars and links on the pictures. So it could be modified ;-).

The script has to be compatible with all major browsers, including IE6.
