We need to create an installer that collects form data before running a .msi or .exe file. This process will launch a file that requires a user to input their information before proceeding to install the application. This needs to be an automatic seamless stage in the install.
Once a user has complete the form, the .exe file will download from an ftp site, install the file – same sort of process as windows manage.
I have attached a screen shot of a fom to give you an idea of the fields required.
We need this as we are planning to offer an application as a free download and want to keep track of each user running the file.
