I want to customize the homepage appearance of Magento.
1.) On the home page all the parent category (images) to be listed in the main content block. All the categories will have images.
2.) It should be possible to change the category layout to grid or row
3.) On clicking the category (images), the products in the category are listed on a new page. The product listing follows the default Magento layout.
4.) We can have subcategories. If a category has sub category, on clicking the parent category, the sub categories are displayed in a page. It follows the same row or grid layout.
