I would like to create a website similar in function as digg.com – except on my site users vote, submit and comment on quotes/phrases (sayings like “to be or not to be”) instead of news stories or links.
Essentially, I wish to create the “digg.com of quotations and phrases”
Google-esque minimalist but attractive layout design is acceptable.
A core concept of this website will be full facebook integration – users will be able to sign in using their facebook accounts, and allow their votes, and submissions to be shared on their facebook news feeds.
The following dynamic lists should be created:
Recent Popular, Top, Recently Submitted
Instead of “digging” a submission users will either: whoosh + or smoosh – a submission.
Website intended for wide adoption, but low profits.
