Updating An Existing Flash Website

1. 1. Menu

a. I would like the menu to have the additional feature (where applicable) of having a “drop down” menu.

i. Now there are only 2 menu options that need this, namely; Multimedia & Locations

ii. Note the photo gallery will need another sub menu.

2. Additional pages

a. On the front page— it has 2 locations – Homebush and Liverpool (two buttons found in the bottom left corner). My update will entail adding 3 to 5 more locations to the front page (same buttons as “homebush” and Liverpool”). NOTE: i will have all the information to put into the pages. I just need someone to do it.

b. I will also provide the button graphics too

3. Printer friendly version

a. I will also need you to add the icon “printer friendly version” on the following pages

i. Why the Park

ii. All the Questions and answer pages.

iii. This can be done by adding the words and icon found in my example graphic under NUMBER 3. I will provide you with the PDF file which they should link too.

4. Change graphic

a. On the front page we need you to delete the blue square box that has the picture of the moon and says “eid announcement” – and replace it with the eid in the park logo found on the top right of the screen.

5. Additional of a new field on the front page

a. We need to add a “state” field which people can choose from a drop down menu the state they live in, choices will be

i. NSW, VIC, QLD, NT, WA, SA, TAS, OTHER

ii. This field should also be reflected in the “register” page too

6. Development work

a. Currently the one who fills out the form which I am referring to in point 4, the information gets sent to my email. From here I have to manually one by one enter enter the information into a .csv file so I can upload it into my account which I send SMS and email notifications. This is very time consuming.

i. I would like it to work in a manner which when someone fills out this form, and it populates into a Microsoft excel csv file automatically. Just like google docs does. This file should be stored somewhere where I can access it and save it to my computer…

ii. See point 6 in my image.

iii. Additionally, I would like the information for every state to go to a separate excel file. Example – there will be a csv file for NSW, VIC, QLD, NT, WA, SA, TAS, OTHER –therefore 8 separate files

iv. Remember I will need to access it online then be able to save them or export them to my computer as csv files or excel files.

7. Audio section

a. Currently all the audio files are only in the format of listening to them with these streaming players the previous designer used.

b. I would like to organize these better as to allow the option of downloading the mp3 onto the persons computer or listening to them. May be in some sort of organized table or something…

8. Photo gallery

a. I think I need a new photo gallery set up – The set up of the current one is not optimal – the current problems are

i. You cannot see clearly the button to view the 2 photo galleries which are present (homebush and Liverpool)

ii. You cannot enlarge the photos when you click on them

9. Above are the main jobs. However there will be little odds and ends to do, as little updates like updating the audio section with more mp3’s, adding photos. Etc.. they will be minor alterations.
