Optasi has been asked to develop an iPhone app and is seeking a subcontractor. The Application will provide a display screen with controls for stopping and starting play of the audio and video streams, along with a volume control for each channel provided.
-The Application will include an Information page that will display descriptive text regarding the client, with links to their website, Twitter, Facebook, phone, email. The Information page will also include a “credits” section providing references to Optasi Inc. Optasi Inc will also be listed as the developer of this Application in Apple’s iTunes Application Store.
-The Application will contain background rotating artwork (“Artwork”), which will reside on Internet servers provided by and paid for by the Client. The Artwork can be changed by the Client at any time at its discretion.
-The Application will contain an alarm clock feature, which will enable consumers to wake up to the Client’s stream when using the alarm function in their iPhone.
-The Application will contain an embedded browser of Client’s web site.
-The Application will contain a function that will enable listeners to choose between foreground and background streaming.
-If Client’s stream contains the appropriate metadata, artist and title information will be available in the Applications and the Applications will provide iTunes tagging. Subcontractor will instruct Optasi Inc to set up an account with LinkShare (or other appropriate link, if available) for the Client as the Client will receive payment from iTunes for each song sold through their Applications. Client will then provide its affiliate ID to subcontractor for embedding in the Applications.
-The Application will contain a Donate button that links out of the application to the Client’s donate page on their website.
-If Client provides multiple audio and video channels, a simple, intuitive user interface will be provided within the Application for the user to choose a particular stream (e.g., HD Radio channel, Live Video, etc.). Client may specify which channel will be “primary” (the one that shows when the Application initially loads). The Client currently has 1 video and 1 audio that uses flash streaming.
-The Application will contain a function for users that have iOS3 that will enable listeners to choose between foreground and background streaming. It will also be compatible with Apple’s iOS4 platform and will provide multi-tasking capability on that platform.
-The subcontractor will recommend a service to convert the streaming video/audio feed to a compatible iPhone format such as http://www.mcommstv.com
-Subcontractor will submit application to Apple Store after approval by of application by client.
-The client will retain all intellectual property rights.
