This project has been on script lance, but it seems there’s some confusion about it.
This is about setting up a Registration page for OpenGTS (live AVL). Written in Java, uses Apache Tomcat for web service deployment, and MySQL for the data store. Hosted on a Linux VPS server.
The idea is! In order to use the site the potential new user will have to register and agree the terms for use of the tracking site.
When the new user is done with the registration in the registration page, the system will set up a account in opengts and send a mail to the new user, the new user will have to return this mail to the system as an confirmation, thus activate the account.
This system will have to administrate more than 1000 users.
All the information from the registration page will be saved In an Excel file and used for later e-mail marketing.
I would prefer someone with experience in this field/opengts.
