Pick-Me is a Windows based desktop application which will randomly select individuals or groups of people/pupils/students. This software is primarily aimed at the education sector for example a class teacher may need to split the class pupils/students into groups or teams for a task. With this software the teacher merely enters the student names, task etc and the software randonly picks the groups – along with titles, task names etc and displays it on screen in a graphic image. The software would also allow print-outs of the selected students, groups, tasks.
The software would need to be kept under the 50Mb limits to enable easy download from our web site.
The software would also need the installation section to include a software registration process using a registration number issued at purchase.
We are looking for a coder who has excellent abilities in database programming (possibly MySQL or MSAccess), screen rendering with 3D graphics and coding from installation package stage (either C++ or VB) and who can render and manipulate graphics in code – to reflect the exact design.
We will supply the design in MS-Publisher document where the graphics and images must be used in the software. Also supplied will be a MS-Word narrative and instruction document.
The selected coder will put forward a competitive bid based on the fact that future work on the Pick-Me project will be forthcoming. This must be reflected in the bid costs.
Importantly, the project MUST BE Completed in 40 days.
