I have a few design clients who need high-end design work, unlike what I’ve done to this point. One attorney client in particular would like two sites designed that looks similar to the samples below by Scorpion:

Some of Scorpion’s sites have extras like the rotating Flash header, talking person, click-to-call, video vault, and other things. Most of their sites also have the short contact form on every page.
I’d like to know how much you’d charge for each of the different ‘add-ons’, but the main thing is to find a designer who has a portfolio of work that looks comparable to Scorpion’s. (More samples here: scorpiondesign.com/Our_Portfolio.aspx )
For bidding, please PICK ONE of the sample sites listed above and give me a quote on cloning the site, with any ‘add-on’ features mentioned separately with pricing.
I know the bids will vary depending on which site you’re bidding on, but that’s fine. Besides the home page with the whole navigation system, etc., I think I’ll only need one ‘internal page’ done, since I can use that for all the rest of the internal pages.
POSSIBLE CONVERSION TO WORDPRESS – PRICE SEPARATELY…
I’d imagine anyone who can do this kind of design work will be a pro with Photoshop, and may NOT be very good at programming (which is fine). But the same attorney client who sent me the site samples (and wants a site like one of those designed) wants to know if I can also convert the design to a WORDPRESS THEME, so he can maintain the site in WordPress. I’ve heard of companies like this one: http://htmlboutique.com/psd-to-html/order-now that say they can convert HTML sites to WordPress themes, but I haven’t seen many WordPress sites that don’t look boxy…
So I’m not sure if there’s any way to actually turn a beautiful site (like the samples above) into a WordPress site without losing some of the beauty. BUT IF YOU CAN DO THIS, PLEASE PRICE IT SEPARATELY. I think there’d be a custom homepage and a custom page for all the internal pages. But it’d be extremely important NOT to lose the design quality. IF YOU CAN ONLY DO THE WORDPRESS CONVERSION (NOT THE SITE DESIGN), THAT’S FINE. AND VICE VERSA. PLEASE JUST BID WHAT YOU CAN DO. I MAY USE ONE PERSON FOR THE SITE DESIGN AND ONE FOR THE WORDPRESS CONVERSION. (If needed, I can break this project apart later.)
IMPORTANT: PLEASE ONLY BID FOR THE SITE DESIGN IF YOU REALLY CAN DESIGN SITES THAT LOOK AS GOOD AS THE SAMPLE SITES LISTED ABOVE. IF YOUR PORTFOLIO (OF SITES YOU ACTUALLY DESIGNED! 🙂 DOESN’T EVEN LOOK CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF THE SAMPLE SITES ABOVE, PLEASE DON’T BID UNLESS YOU WANT TO FIRST CREATE A UNIQUE SAMPLE SITE THAT LOOKS AS GOOD AS THE ONES ABOVE 🙂
