I am creating a new website all about freelance writing. It is for people who are new to freelance writing.
What I need is a few ‘success stories’ from successful freelance writers.
To bid for this job you must fit the following qualifications:
–Working as a freelance writer for at least six months.
–Truly enjoy your work
–Live in the United States or Canada (As this is where my audience is.)
What I need from you:
–Your ‘real life’ success story as a freelance writer.
–A description of what your life was like before freelance writing.
–How your life has changed since becoming a freelance writer
——Include at least 3 ways freelance writing has made your life better. Be specific. Does it let you stay home with your kids? Do you get to work in coffeeshops? That kind of thing.
–Any interesting anecdotes that help communicate your story better.
–Specific concrete details, including the amount of money you make. How many hours you work. Note, this does not need to be a lot. Even just a few hundred dollars a month is fine.
–Five hundred to a thousand words
–Original work, to be owned by me
A photo of yourself to be included with the article would be very much appreciated, though not necessary. Also, the city/state you live in. You can ask to have your full name published, or just your first name and last initial.
You will also be considered for future projects. (For many projects, I like to hire writers to cover a single topic, writing five to ten 500 word articles a month, paying $10-$17 an article, depending on a number of factors. My longest term writer has been with me for almost 2 years.)
