Redesign Of Linepot.com

NOTE: Limited budget, $10-$20. So this is a build-your-portfolio job.

So my CSS site www.linepot.com is very similar to fmylife… too similar. I need it to change. My idea is as follows:

10 posts per page, but no “next” link at the bottom. One main page. And each post is like a rounded off bubble. Then the only way to make a new post appear is to vote on a post (i.e. that’s a good line, that’s pretty lame). Then the vote changes, sits for a second, then fades away. Then a second later, a new post fades in. And the cycle just keeps going and going. New posts only come up when you’ve voted on others. Then when there are no more votes, a grayed out message comes up in place of the post you voted on saying, “There are no more posts. Click the tab “Moderate” at the top to approve more users lines!”

I also want the posts to get cleaned up a little, sort of move the twitter and facebook links so that they’re less obtrusive. Maybe also add a line under the text to let it stand out more. You know, we can work on it until I say it looks good.

Anyway, that’s the project. Flat rate, no $/hour. No overtime. But this website has potential and it would look really good on a resume to show you had a hand in creating it.
