We need to develop two Iphone games. We provide you the design, sound effects and music.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH GAMES:
– Games will work on 3G, 3GS, iPOD Touch 2nd generation, and iPhone 4/iPad.
– Games will integrate to a website for registration and score posting.
– Registration through a registration form or Facebook connect
– Games controls are through touch screen
– Each game will have no more than 20 levels
– Both games provide the possibility to customize the player’s character. The customizations will be saved into the website’s database. The customizations will consist of face, hairstyle and color customization as well as dressing up the character with different colors.
– Development daily reports are mandatory
Game#1: FRUITS FALLING GAME
– The objective of the game is to catch in a limited time a certain number of fruits that are falling from the top, at different speed.
– The number of fruits to catch is announced at the beginning of each level.
– To catch the fruits, players will have a cup at the bottom of the sceen that they will move from right to left
– The number of fruits to catch and their drop speed increase as the levels are reached, in order to increase game difficulty.
– Sometimes there are ‘bonus fruits’ that fall.
How to score:
– when you catch the number of fruits that has been fixed by the level, you earn points and are eligible to pass to the next level.
– if you catch them all quickly and the timing is not over yet, all the remaining seconds are converted into points.
– if you catch bonus fruits, you earn extra points.
Each level’s score is added to a game score that will be shown in the high score board if high enough.
The customized lemon character appears on top, with the score, level and time remaining. On the high score board are the top scorers.
GAME # 2: BRICKBREAKER GAME (ARKANOID LIKE GAME)
-The player controls a ‘paddle’ which prevents a ball from falling from the playing field, attempting to bounce it against a number of bricks. The ball striking a brick causes the brick to disappear. When all the bricks are gone, the player goes to the next level, where another pattern of bricks appear. There are a number of variations (bricks that have to be hit multiple times, expand the paddle size, multiply the number of balls, equip, etc.), but the gameplay remains the same.
– The game’s difficulty increases throughout the levels. Difficulty depends on the number of bricks to break and their position on the screen.
Scoring system
The scoring system is based on the number of broken bricks + the player’s ability to catch a maximum of bonus points.
