I have made these two documents which are linked by merge fields and macro’s. This project can be described as a tool for making a report and an offer for financial services after entering data in the Excel sheet. We want to use this tool online and therefore would like to have it written in PHP/MySQL.
By entering data in the Excel sheet the formulas and macro’s dictate whether a piece of text gets entered into the Word document. Almost everything in the Word document is entered by the Excel sheet. We would like to have potential customers enter data online, as on the first two sheets in Excel. From there everything is calculated and texts are selected. As you can see everything is in Dutch, which I don’t think matters because Excel changes the formulas to English. If it does matter we can change it to English.
Once the data is entered we want to present the customer with a report in pdf, which of course can be saved[] and is automatically mailed to me.
To get the documents to work you need to create the folder C:\dubbelu\ and place the two documents in this folder. Then start by running Rapportmaker.xlsm. You will find the formulas and texts in the different pages in Excel.
