I am trying to teach myself how to program in Ruby on Rails (RoR), and I would like to hire an experienced RoR developer to help me troubleshoot when I encounter obstacles. I am working on a Mac computer, with the OS 10.5 (Leopard) operating system.
At present, I need assistance installing Ruby, Rails, MySql, the Ruby gems, etc. on my machine so that I can begin programming.
NOTE: I will not require constant assistance from the troubleshooter/tutor I hire, as I am working through various online tutorials. This tutor will simply need to be available to answer various questions as I have them.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Must speak English fluently
– Must be an experienced RoR developer
– Must work on Mac OS 10.5 platform
– Must be available for “conference calls” on Skype to provide instruction
