I have a database driven site that is now failing with a database error. I need somebody to make the thing work. In addition I would like the successful contractor to look over the database and suggest/implement improvements to make the site work more effectively. The site has become unreliable recently, probably connected with heavy use of RSS feeds and the amount of content.
We have managed to get the site from completely non-functional but there is work to be done getting the database to work.
If the person selected has PHP programming skills then there will be work available in implementing some new features to the site and upgrading others. This work will need to be discussed seperately.
