Looking for a simple project done in Microsoft access. For this project I need simple inventory control. Basically I want to know what amount of Xproduct we have. This system would allow me to use a FORM to enter inventory we receive per truck load, and what we ship out per truck load.
Let me break this down for those who still may be lost.
System Inventory Control.
We ship empty pop cans, the operation is pretty simple we receive X amount of pallets 25 per truck load and put them away per the inventory number CDXXXX.
The CDXXXX represents the design so for example PEPSI COLA 12 OZ inventory number would be CD8342 … So on a average day we get about 20 inbound trucks with 25 pallets each. Those trucks include different designs for each design is the CD number. We would like to enter on the FORM the CDnumber and the amount per truck, and it would allow us to enter more then one for the truck load. For example 10 CD8342 POP COLA 12 oz , 15 CD9834 ADLI POP MAX 12 oz = 25. Some truck loads may have less than 25 however it should prompt us if 25 is not entered for that record. The record should include a RELEASE number (5 digit BOL number ) THE inventory products ( CDXXXX ) and the CARRIER name and TRAILER number.
For our shipping side we would like to use a very similar form that would allow us the enter the amount of pallets we ship and the CD number of those pallets. We should be able to enter more than 1, for example the form would ask us the TRAIL number, CARRIER name, LOADER, RELEASE number, and the amount of product we are shipping of the CD numbers example : 22 CD9453 ALDI COLA
So this should be pretty simple, contact me if you have any questions. Its just a system that allows us to track product moving into our warehouse and whats shipping out. At any time i would be able to pull a report showing what we have on hand. The system is very simple because all of our products have a CD number, we just want to track whats going out and coming in.
