we have a site based around the twitter api functionality and are preparing for launch of the site. the site already has a majority of functionality built into it, however, we want to add additional features and improve upon some of the existing features and looking for a programmer that can make it happen ASAP.
some of the features are cron based, and when run, occupy a large amount of the server resources, causing the site not to load. we need to either improve the efficiency of the tasks being run via cron, or develop the resource heavy cron processes to take place on a different server.
currently the site is based of kohonaphp and we are open to using something else, should it prove to be scalable and help resolve our server resource issues.
we are looking for someone who is well experienced with:
-PHP
-kohanaphp framework
-twitter api
-ajax
-css
-coding psd’s and implementing onto site

ideally we are looking for a twitter api rockstar who has experience with posting rss feeds to twitter, similar to that of twitterfeed.com or hootsuite.com – however, our site offers so much more, so we are not looking for a beginner….we want someone who knows the twitter api.
after the completion of this work, we may offer you the next phase of the project to work on.
