Hello,
I have a custom-made PHP script that make use of 3rd-party cookies in a way (it’s an affiliate link protector).
These cookies are blocked when Internet Explorer is used, so the script is useless in this situation.
I’m looking for someone to solve this problem.
I have found a similar script that seems to have solved this problem:
http://www.saf**elinkcl**oaker.com/ (remove the **)
Not sure, but see the following exemple:
http://www.safel**inkclo**aker.com/slcpro/micronichefinder.htm
(remove the **)
The 3rd-party cookie is not getting blocked in IE.
They use an 1×1 iframe to hide the affiliate link, and the page redirects to a “normal page” (the other link is not an affiliate link).
I tried to use the very same code that you see there with an affiliate link of mine, but the cookies was not planted! Why? No idea. Something that I can’t see in the code is missing?
Also, Avira AntiVir is alerted when this page loads (‘micronichefinder.htm’). So this code is not problem free.
My script works the same way, but it uses a frame set instead of an iframe. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t work with 3rd-party cookies in IE?
Anyone to help me out with this?
Thank you for reading.
