Linux 3m Touch Driver

Hello,

– Need help installing the 3M touch driver to Puppy Linux Quirky 1.2.

ftp://ftp.oss.cc.gatech.edu/pub/linux/distributions/quirky/quirky-1.2/qrky-120.iso

– When installing the original 3M touch screen drivers (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/TouchSystems/TouchScreen/CustomerSupport/TouchScreenDrivers/) i get the error:

# ./Install
Cannot install the init script

However reading the installer log it tells me this error is due to:

* Cannot install the init script
The Install script tries to detect the presence of the chkconfig and
update-rc.d utilities and the /etc/rc.d/rc.local script. If it cannot
find any of these, this message appears.

If your system uses the chkcconfig or update-rc programs, make sure
the PATH environment variable contains the path to where the programs
reside. If rc.local is in another directory, edit the Install script
and change the value of the InitDir variable.

If your system uses some other system, you need to place the init
script TWDrvStartup in the appropriate place. The Install script
creates a copy where the MT 7 for Linux package resides. You may need
to edit the TWDrvStartup script to work with your system.

– Need help getting this installed.

Thanks for help,

Best regards,
Johan
