Hi,
I need a vbulletin mod created that will send daily/weekly/monthly updates to members who subscribe to be alerted when particular tags of their interests are posted to threads.
Just how members currently can subscribe to forums you can get a daily email summary of a forum.
This mod would allow you to:
1. Create subscriptions to tags
2. Get daily updates, or
3. Get instant updates when there is a new thread with a certain tag.
So, if I subscribed to the “music” tag, I could get either a daily summary of the threads with that tag or instant updates when a thread is tagged “music”.
I believe all, or nearly all, of the coding would relate to the PHP file that manages the email subscriptions.
I need this to work with both vb 3.8x and 4.0x.
