I want to develop an alarm clock app for the iphone that is very similar to the one it comes with, but with the added feature of displaying a message on the screen when the alarm goes off.
This app would certainly rely on good design in order to appeal.
I want to make an alarm clock that brings up a message when the alarm goes off in the morning. My initial plan was to have the app download the messages from a server over night. Do you have any experience with iphone apps that read information off servers?
If not, that may not be a big deal because I am now reconsidering that idea and thinking that it may be best to just include all the messages in the actual app. What do you think would be best.
