I am familiar with WordPress capabilities and object model, but I am not a programmer, I have limited time to learn and configure new plugins, and I need someone experienced in WordPress who can lend a hand.
Rather than listing specific tasks, I expect this initial project to take no more than 20 hours. If the requirements exceed 20 hours, we can discuss bonus payments to cover the additional hours.
I have a site at LumeNerds.com where I am republishing syndicated content from PR Newswire and other RSS feeds specific to the lighting industry. I need help from an individual who can help configure several plugins, as well as some WordPress page templates (post.php, sidebar.php, etc.)
I currently have two syndication plugins installed (FeedWordpress and RSS Digest), as well as a content augmentation plugin called Zemanta. I’ll need help configuring these to assist my editor in day to day postings. I’m open to suggestion for better plugins.
After discussing and prioritizing issues, I will assign tasks using Basecamp, making note of time estimated. You can log your actual hours against tasks items.
I am flexible on when you are working, but I need a good English speaking collaborator who is available for Google Chats or GoToMeeting discussions.
