Everything looks correct when viewed on a large monitor. The problem is what happens when you make your browser window small (less than 960px wide).
When you make your browser window small, the nav area (pink) continues to go to the left (off screen).
The behavior I want is for the navbar (pink) to stop when it reaches the edge of the window. Like the gray bar does.
