Quick Php Function

I have a Feed page which displays some Links.

I need to take out 3 links from it and save them to database table. The links are:

1: Date
2: Name of the file
3: File download URL

Knowledge of the following is necessary I guess:

str_replace
preg_replace
preg_match
Curl
