We are looking for a website for our online Business.
We are very particular about the layout of the site and we have made a mockup in PowerPoint of how we want it to look like and function. We therefore need somebody who can follow the plan and make a site out of our specifications.
There are the features that the site should have:
1. A landing page with sign up and login forms
2. Two (2) Categories – we should be able to add, edit, delete any and all content as well as photos etc in both categories from the back end of the CMS. Site users should also be able to add, edit and delete their content from the front end inside their members’ area after signing up at site.
3. Content will be displayed in three blocks i.e. upper, middle and lower blocks, with a fixed left bar that will have About US, How it Works, FAQ, Contact Us, Log Out and a summary of Recent activity on the site scrolling from the bottom up. The blocks dimensions will be as follows:-
(i) Upper Block – 690 x 320px: Content will scroll from right to left (requires flash functionality)
(ii) Middle Block – 340 x 320px: Middle block will have 2 units of this size.
(iii) Lower Block – 225 x 320px: Lower block will have 3 rows of 3 units each, total of 9 units of this size
The layout of content in the members area should be in such a way that it fits into any of the three blocks that members choose to post content to. Should be easy for the members to just type in their info and upload photos/videos and content appears on the blocks well laid out.
4. Site should have an inbuilt functionality to convert members/users’ info on site, including photos to an eBook that they can then download after paying
5. Site should have a shopping cart and a payment processing system to allow members/users to buy items from the site. Items bought on the site are then posted to the buying members profiles (just like buying digital gifts and sending them to somebody or posting to your profile on Facebook and other sites). All digital goods will be put on site by admin using admin’s control panel.
5. Site must have admin panel from where all content will be managed by admin
In the PowerPoint mockup you will realize there are slides that are similar or almost similar. This is because the layout of the content in both Category 1 and Category 2 pages is almost the same, with very slight differences. This should make it easy for you since you will develop 1 page that suits both categories, with very slight alterations between the 2 categories.
Above all site should be quick to load, clean and visually appealing. Colors used in the PowerPoint mockup are just for guidance, feel free to use whatever colors you think will bring maximum appeal to the site.
