I am looking for a talented programmer with a proven background and strong references to take on the development of an online B2B marketplace and communication platform/website from scratch.
Based on the features and requirements attached (and more detailed specifications to be provided at a later stage), the successful programmer will need to recommend the most appropriate software/application/language to be used on which to build the system. I have a preference for open source which will allow us to obtain the code for standard features and not have to recreate this ourselves. If the chosen software/application/language can also draw on a large pool of talent then all the better. I am open to suggestions and discussions on this.
Once the most suitable software/application/language has been agreed with myself and the chosen programmer has confirmed that the full list of functionalities are achievable, the platform will then be clearly defined in wireframes (this will most likely be done by the designer). Once completed wireframes are agreed, the programmer will then start the build of the platform. The designer will work from the wireframes at the same time that the programmer is coding from the same wireframes. The programmer will then need to layer the designs onto the application at the end.
I am looking for this work to start as soon as possible. I run an online (e-commerce) wine store as my primary business. This is an unrelated project, however, my daily involvement with an IT based business allows me to know the importance of a programmer who has a disciplined, responsible and proactive work ethic. Attention to detail is very important and anything but clean code will not be accepted. This can be a very rewarding project for the right programmer with a potential for ongoing work after the initial build.
