Hospital Directory/Reviews/Price Comparison Plugin using WordPress.
I want to create a WordPress directory site where users can find hospitals in different countries, information about these hospitals and also have the ability to review them. There should also be the ability to have the hospitals to list prices for their different treatments and thus give the users ability to sort the hospitals based on the cheapest provider or highest rated provider.
Key features
– Add a hospital section where the hospital can add themselves, however this has to be moderated by the admin before shown
– Hospital profile section where users can find information such as name, country, contact details, pictures, videos, reviews and also a price list for their treatments if the hospital has added these.
– Users can review each hospital and rate them 1 to 5. (users IP has to be recorded and each user can only review each hospital once)
– Claim this profile feature where hospitals that have been added by the admin can be claimed by the hospital.
– Doctor profile section where the doctors CV and accomplishments can be added (linked from hospital profile)
– Admin should be able to enable or disable the ability to charge these hospitals for listings based on a subscription model using paypal, with different subscription packages. While initially this will be free there is a plan to charge for the listings and thus this feature needs to be there. Different subscription packages should allow admin to specify bronze/silver/gold packages and what they include (such as pictures/doctor CVs/price list/ability to respond to reviews)
– Ability to search for hospitals based on either the procedure they offer or by country they are located in. Then also be able to sort these listings based on hospital name/country/reviews/price.
– Admin should be able to specify the various treatments that the hospitals can tick that they provide
– Ability by admin to set the custom fields which the hospital can fill out. So while the basic fields will be Hospital name, Country, City, Address and Contact details there needs to be the ability to add more custom fields as the admin wishes.
I have the theme geoplaces by templatic which is similar to what I need, however it doesn’t really do exactly what I want it to do. So if you want an idea please check out that theme.
I have attached mockups of the front page, hospital list, hospital profile and doctor profile. I want this design so you will have to code the theme to look like that. Naturally everything has to be SEO friendly and pass coding validity checks.
