I recently added a PHPbb forum to the website.
I need someone to make my website use the PHPbb database instead of the database it currently uses. All usernames and info from the current database need to be transferred to the PHPbb database.
I need people to be able to use the same account for the forum, and the main site. So, making an account on the forum will let you log into the main site, and making an account on the main site will let you log into the forum. If someone previously made an account on the main site, they should be able to use it on the forum.
People should automatically be logged into the forum if they recently logged into the site, and if people are logged into the forum, they should be able to go to the main site and still be logged in. I believe this is called ‘merging the sessions’.
I need a Facebook log in, and a Google log in added to the phpbb forum. There is already a facebook and google login on my site, I’m not sure if you will reuse that. There are facebook and google login addons for phpbb available online.
