I will try to explain as best as I can:
1. MVS – Free shipping module works fine when I use $ as the default currency, but when the default currency is € or any other, than the shipping at the checkout gets charged to € 7.40 or equaling to $10.00. I have tried to use CHF as the default currency, and it was the same scenario, shipping gets charged CHF 8.80 or equaling to $10.00. I live in Switzerland and need to use € or CHF as the default currency.
2. PayPal express checkout. I have set MY STORE address to be Zurich Switzerland , in the zone shipping module and in MVS zone shipping module, I have set Switzerland (CH) as zone 1. Shipping works fine when using normal checkout or PayPal website payment standard, but when using PayPal express checkout for shipping to Switzerland, shipping gets charged as CH (Switzerland) is in the zone 2. PayPal express takes the amount setting in the ZONE 2 for the specific weight regardless of the shipping address . So using PayPal express checkout for shipping items within Switzerland, shipping gets charged from the setting in the zone 2, although Switzerland (CH) is not in that zone.
