This website will basically be a Facebook fan page directory for all of our fan pages that we have created as well as fan pages that others have created as well. We need to be able to add new fan pages to our website and allow outside users to add new fan pages too.
Fan Page Directory Format –
Fan Page Like Button-
Each fan page that is submitted needs to have its corresponding like button next to the fan page name.
Name of Fan Page-
Of course the name of the fan page needs to be in this format. The name needs to be click-able allowing users to click and view the fan page.
About –
This section requires users to describe what their fan page is about. Their needs to be a character limit on their description and users must enter some description.
Website Functionality –
Members-
User will be able to connect to the website using Facebook connect to lo-gin to the website. The website needs to have a members lo-gin area and members profile that lists all of the users Facebook fan pages they have added to the site and also allows users to add new pages.
Search Function –
Users need to be able to search the fan page directory for the current listed fan pages. There will be 2 methods of searching the directory to find fan pages.
1.) Category List –
Upon creation of each fan page, each user and even the site owner needs to pick a category to list the fan pages in. A list of categories will be given to you. At least 1 and at most 3 categories will need to be added upon listing of the fan page into our directory.
2.) Tags –
Also, users will be required to add tags to each submission that allows other users to find their fan pages when searching the site.
Searching –
Popularity-
The site needs to have a most popular fan pages area that allows users to see the fan pages that are most popular, that is, the pages that have the most likes.
Most Recent Added Pages-
This area should just show the most recent added pages to the website.
Category Search – User need to be able to search for fan pages by category.
Tag Cloud- Their needs to be a tag cloud on the website so users can see the most popular tags.
