Our client is coming from a VERY custom CMS and we need to migrate the db into Magento. The current site is for a boutique that carries a variety of products from jewelry (customizable sets to collection pieces) to belts. The database allows admin to set up custom dropdowns (for unique color choices; i.e. – “sienna mist”, “aquamarine”) with custom fields and labels to describe options of the products. Administrators will need the ability to create/remove/update these customizable jewelry sets and give customer ability to mix and match individual collection pieces to create their own unique jewelry set.
The client would like to set up promotional pricing, gift cards, gift certificates and promo codes. Additionally, the customers are able to sign-in and flag products to their “wish-list” and that allows non-signed-in customers to search and view wish-list to make purchases.
The current database has about 6000 products and hundreds of customers.
