I’m looking for a customization categorization search and review site ( not a search engine ) that also uses taxonomy in a way to group things together by constantly scanning the web for descriptions, reviews, news, social networking feeds, and blogs. Something along the lines of Magazine meets News but I’m open to design suggestions.
My entire site / blog which will have a different components has to be Extremely Polished and have a High End Look and Feel to be successful.I’m a perfectionist when it comes to details and try not to overlook a thing and hope your guidance will also help.There are site pages out there that I want 100% duplicated functionality -look & feel that will probably make your job easier.
A customization theme that has a customizable mega drop down menu that can have sorting options like Category / Sub category and other options.This info has to come from your knowledge of how to use curration and aggregation. This site will also have different embedded social media / news / and affiliate widget flexibility. Scaleable to add a Buyers Guide and a third party private label E-commerce component .Most viewed * Recent reviews * Recent comments* Most discussed Top rated, Trending and Rankings by certain criteria.SEO and link building to a certain extent etc.
Also need a team that does not mind last minute revisions and pays particular attention to detail from browser compatibility,functionality,site color,image quality,font layout and sizes etc.This site will be very distinguishable among any site out there. Possible mobile application might be in the works for future ideas. Also want the ability to have members submit there lists of what they have and how they use them and be able for others to comment on their lists. Site Log in capability using F.B – Twitter-Gmail-Yahoo.
Want to use as many Proven, Reliable,Automated plugins WordPress has to offer.
*A quick example of what I mean is this.- I participate on your free site by telling you what I already own with a few options=entering it in,by uploading it /commuter syncing it.-I see my items then I pick a category to see another item I like, click on it for more details and then the site automatically generations relevant recommendations on what I might like based on the information I provided / my profile,by category,by 3rd party stats,by member recommendation, ie star / like rating. – drill down method.This of course is early stages of functionality but none the less my expectations.
How many mock ups,free vs. premium theme, banner ad management, php/html, revisions, SEO your teams availability to communicate.-how & when, terms, programming / bug fix guarantee .All these things are important and need to be addressed because In many cases I’m not looking for standard this or that I’m looking for outside the box thinking,audience engagement and creativity.
Can you give me a detail as to your experience in curration, aggregation, and working / customization of feeds, widgets etc. and specific site examples?
I also want to know about project ( legal) confidentiality and how your team goes about protecting that? Patent & Trademarks, Site programming, Proprietary components etc
WP is a little new to what I’m use to that is why I stress the Automated factor in the beginning.
