We are a group of savvy entrepreneurs out of South Florida with an idea for a Groupon Now -like web and mobile interface around a niche where have major experience and influence. We plan is to test the viability of the project in our market first.
Both the site and iphone application (built similar to Groupon Now app) which will detect users current location and allow user to select location and return all deals closest to their current geo location e.g 2,1 miles 2,2 miles etc based on users selected preferences.
Some key features (1) Site and application to sync (2) user should be able to receive push-notifications for the new deals. (3) Payment gatway = paypal pro and express checkout. (4) User to be able to get voucher on phone with barcode and merchant able to login and scan barcode to redeem.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RoR developer having strong development experience on iOS platform having built an app already using iphones GPS built in feature.
