MediaLine.com is an operating website that serves as a job board for the television news industry. MediaLine is written in PHP using the Smarty web framework with a MySQL DB. MediaLine seeks to overhaul its current site both on the front-end and back-end. The new development will use PHP and will be hosted in the cloud. Major components include: talent profile pages, broadcaster accounts and job postings, job board (search, response, etc), subscription/account signup and billing, video upload and encoding, picture upload and encoding, administration interface. The data, accounts, and content of the current site will need to be transferred to the new site. Most of the new design has been mocked up using HTML/JS/CSS.
