Website/Application Developer
We arelooking for an experienced developer who has the development skills necessary to create websites/applications that are both data driven as well as visually impactful. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Art Directors and Interactive Producers to assist in establishing project guidelines based around client mandated development requirements and design specifications that will assist us in site/application builds. Our ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach to development while also showing their willingness to be a valuable member of the creative team. He/She will be expected to collaborate with the team and assist in identifying creative technical solutions to a wide array of technical challenges.
Required Skills
• 4+ years experience designing, developing, and supporting web-based sites and applications.
• Possess a solid understanding of web application architecture and database construction.
• Expert-level experience of technologies such as PHP, JSP, SQL (WebSphere, MySQL), AJAX, JQuery and other web application frameworks.
• Experience with Webservices.
• Experience with hosting setup/maintenance.
• Experience with SSL.
• Experience with CSS and XSL.
• Experience with Flash is a plus.
• Experience with phpBB, vBullitin and WordPress is a plus.
• Experience within the mobile field (site or app construction) is a plus
• Detailed and organized.
• Excellent communicator.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
