We recenety moved a Oscommerce site to a new Dedicated server, the host has tweaked Mysql A little but site site slower on newer faster server.
mods were done to Site to work with the newer Mysql and php etc so these may be affecting it.
So need a expert in Mysql and PHP and A knowledge of Oscommerce scritp may help
