Dear Scriptlance.
I need the following:
A replica of the script when you click on “Get A Quote”.
The new script will need to be uploaded to an FTP of my choosing.
I also will need the following work done to this script.
Initial information page
Make the phone number field not required.
Change the “I want a quote for” fields to be unchecked as default.
Add a checkbox for the following: Boat, Business, Motorcycle (can you make the three new ones grayed out and put a little note below them saying “Coming Soon”?)
Auto insurance information
Under vehicle information, remove the “Body” field.
Change the “Doors” field to a drop down box that has the selections 2 door and 4 door, defaulting to 2 door.
Change “Full Coverage Liability” field to say “Drive”, with a drop down box saying No and Yes, with no being the default.
Change “Add New Vehicle” to “Add A Vehicle”.
Under driver information, add the option “Child” to the drop down menu for Martial Status
Change the Weekly Mileage field to say Good Student, with a drop down box saying No or Yes, defaulting to Yes.
Change Add a New Driver to Add a Driver.
Change the order of the fields below the drivers section to be (some fields are new and some are just spelling changes of the current ones; I will mark the new ones for you):
1 – Current Provider
2 – Expiration Date
3 – Current Liability Limit (new field, text box like the expiration date field)
4 – Bodily Injury (remove the 15k/30k option from the dropdown menu)
5 – Property Damage (add 250,000 to the drop down menu)
6 – Uninsured Motorist (remove the 15/30/10 from the drop down menu)
7 – Collision (remove the 100 deductible from this drop down menu)
8 – Comprehensive (add 1000 deductible to this menu)
9 – Rental Car (new field, drop down menu with the following options: “$20/day” and $30/day)
10 – Towing (new field, drop down menu with options: “$50” and “$100”)
Now, for the interesting change. The first three fields (current provider, expiration date, current liability limit) are fine. However, the rest of them can be different based upon which car the customer is requesting a quote for. For example, for vehicle 1, a customer may want a 250 deductible for collision, but for the second vehicle, he may want a 500 deductible. Is there any way we can make fields (4-10) different based upon which vehicle is currently selected? I am thinking that these fields might have to be a part of the Vehicle information fields that appear for each vehicle (for example, in addition to year, make, mode, etc. there will also be the fields for Bodialy Injury, Property Damage and so on, appearing with each car added. What are your thoughts on the best way to do this? Please feel free to let me know if I am not making sense with this!
Homeowners Insurance
Change the Replacement Cost to say “Insured Amount” and make it the first field.
Move Type of Construction to be the second field, and change it to a drop down box with the following options: Brick, Wood, Stucco.
Make Year Built the third one.
Remove the deductible field.
Create a new field “Number of Claims in Past 3 Years”; drop down menu with choices 0,1,2,3 or 4. Can you also make it so that if the user selects anything other than 0, another two fields appear that say “Type” and “Date” (text box fields)? I would also like the fields to go away if the user sets the choice back to 0.
Add a new field that says Current Carrier with a text box entry.
Add a new field that says Expiration, with a text box entry.
Make the checkboxes below this unchecked by default.
Add “Fair” as an option in the credit rating drop down.
Life insurance information
Under adults and child, remove the Whole life/Term life/Universal field.
Make the “Add new child” say “Add a Child”
Change Face Ammounts to say Face Amount and have a drop down box instead of a text field, with the options 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 (both adult and child)
Remove tobacco field under child.
Renters insurance
Mirror the homeowners insurance, with the following changes:
Instead of Insured Amount, say Contents Amount.
Add a field called Name of Complex (if any) after type of construction and before year built.
