I am looking for a developer that can write a Vb program that can contained in a single executable.
This program will replace the Window shell that launches a citrix desktop from an ICA (to be provided).
The look will be simplae, I background that can be customised (corporate branding per client) and two buttoms:
1.) Logon, which calls a shell command that I will provide
2.) Shutdown, which will shut down the PC
3,) The positions of the buttons should automatically position themselves based on the screen resoltion size (thinking bottom third of the screen, equally adjasent .
There must a secret key combo that prompts for a password which brings up an administration page.
This page will provide the administrator the options to:
1.) set the background
2.) revert the system back to normal or lock it down, (I will supply the registry key and local policies for this)
3.) Change the combo key combination for the admin screen
I suspect, for ease. there will be a folder on the root of the C Drive, called Launcher that will contain the EXE and Reg Files and Background image, just for ease of coding.
It is expected to work on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
I have written a VB script that removes a pc from the domain and sets it in a workgroup which may need tweaking.
At at later stage I want to incorporate this in to a central adminstration system (web based) for mass roll out to a large number of system.
I have already started working on something, but it is naff I don’t have the artistic ability and programming skill but I have included what I have done so far.
