CMS
THE CLIENT needs to be able to add, edit and delete pages and have the option to add a blog/news stream.
THE CLIENT should be able to specify the URL, the metadata, and the page content.
THE CLIENT should be able to edit text on pages, change font sizes, colours, etc.
The above examples are not exhaustive; we would expect the normal suite of CMS features.
DATABASE
THE CLIENT needs the ability to add, edit or delete a university from the system (this includes the university code).
Download Student Data: student record number, email address, university, course, year, most recent saved module + ISBN data, checkout list (count + timestamps) to an excel file.
Download university data (university + courses + modules + lecturers + years + # students attached to university)
Every time a user registers by giving us their e-mail, this e-mail + the attached university, course & year must be added to our CRM system so that we can run e-mail marketing campaigns with them.
THE CLIENT needs to be able to import data exports from universities into our database. Be that in XML / CSV format. Universities will export their data in different formats. The database must be able to except all formats.
AMAZON
Nightly Scheduled Task that uses lookups against Amazon.co.uk with 10 ISBNs separated by an OR statement to collect author, title, price, etc. data for 10 ISBNs at a time.
E-MAIL
THE CLIENT will require a number of automatic emails to be generated and sent by the system.

THE CLIENT will send all manual emails through a separate CRM system that the contact has been uploaded into.
Data needs to be imported as a .csv or .xml
Front end coding is very basic!
