I would like a 2D MMORPG game like Ultima Online created for my website. It should be modular so that new characters, clothing, weapons, items, houses, classes, character attributes, buildings, etc. can be added later.
If you’re unfamiliar with Ultima Online, users can create characters and play them in the game. They eventually came out with a 3d client but I am only looking for a 2D game, 3D is not necessary.
In the game you can fight monsters, fight people, fish, talk to people, ride horses, tame animals, mine iron ore, create weapons, create armor, bake food, make potions, use magic spells, use various weapons/armor, buy/sell items in the game including houses. Users can enter houses and store their items, etc.
I understand this is a large request, is there any way to have a basic version create without going broke?
