I want to upgrade theme of the site to be more like a Groupon looking style.
Site: www.bestlocaloffers.com.au is a directory for businesses which have special deal or offer to get new customers. The site will highlight the TOP 5 offers in each location and or category. It uses a phpMyDirectory template.
The changes i need are:
Front page:
Overall look to be more exciting. Image Carousel/Rotator for the top 5 offers in the top 5 categories (in location selected) to be the central feature and showing totally when page opens. This will have a caption. See diagram attached.
Also need a vertical image slider to show new lisings in the selected location. Set to auto scrolling. The searchbox needs to be tidied up.

The rest of the site needs to reflect the same feel/theme and the listing page for the advertiser needs an image rotator for their 3 images
Data: Database localoffers
The top 5 listings are based on the “hits” firld in the listings table.
The images will be in the banners table- linked to the listing. The offer field is in the listings table called description_short or as a variable $short_description.
Let me know whatever else you need. Feel free to change whatever you need in the design.
