We need yelp / top10review clone using 2 tools wordpress 3.1 having multisite ability and gdstarrating.com plugin.
We will be having data entry people and other tech people and general website used who will be making the subsite and / childsite.
The project more of mainteanance / training the user how to make subdomain and upload rating/review for product /feature/services as per location .
Process
:
Requirement:
a) install wordpress 3+ multi site with a frontend site builder
b) Signup will be a 3 step process.
1) users can select a template (part of theme) in the frontend and Installs automated gdstarrating.com plugin
2) enter their account information
3) enter optional domain name
c) the child sites must be accessible using the format mainsite.com/childsite and also childsite.com
(example top10.com lets say is mainsite.com and childsite is restaruant so top10.com/restaruant or restaruant.com should point to top10.com/restaruant
d) Make the child sites posts searchable from main site
e) Updation using excel for technically challenged people
