I would like to hire someone to developed a highly specific news widget script for blogs and websites. Tentatively named YourNiche News Widget. Functionality:
1. A ‘smart’ widget that will relate the news feed to a website’s keyword metadata. The widget should take the keywords and obtain a custom Yahoo RSS news feed for each, then display the custom feed results. Each website would therefore display a totally unique news feed.
2. Appearance – typical newsfeed widget appearance, nothing out of the ordinary, neutral color scheme. Title on top, links to the widget hosting website and one other link on the bottom. Backlinks should be made non-removable. Formatted for blog sidebar use.
2. I’m indifferent to the programming method as long as it can be installed on websites and blogs easily, and that the backlinks pass page rank. No iFrames.
