Hi, I would like to find a programmer who can build a website for me with some eBay/BidStick.com type qualities. I want to run it differently than those two sites but sort of similar so when thinking about the skills needed to build this site, if you could build the features and functionalities of an eBay, then you might be a fit.
This website will be an auction type site with the look of bidstick.com (I like that style of graphics) with timers for countdowns and listing properties like ebay. It will need to have user registration functions and will need to be linked to paypal sort of how ebay is. My countdowns will all countdown down sort of like bidstick does and it will need have links to back end information regarding events (games, concerts, etc) with dates, venues, etc in various cities that users can select from.
Or also take a look at http://www.quibids.com/. Please review this website and if you have the capability to build one exactly like it, please let me know. Review all the links, the look of it, all the sections before you bid. I want all transactions run through PayPal for the users of it. It has back end features which send emails when you register, when you bid, when you win, etc. Note the Buy It Now feature option. Need to have all of it!!! Needs to built in common programming techniques that will be able to be understood and turned over to my US based management team after you complete the website. So technically it will be a semi auction type website with the functionality of ebay/bidstick/quibids.com Things like that.
I don’t know much about website building or anything. Just happened upon this Scriptlance so if I’m posting in the wrong place, my apologies.
I don’t know what boxes to check below as far as what is required for a website like that to run. It said I had to pick one so I just picked the first one. Will need your expert advice here. Please submit your bid and we’ll see what things look like. In your bid, please include examples of sites you have done in the past. Sites that are functional and operating today that are along this auction type e-commerce platform.
