Datamigration osCommerce 2.2 -> 2.3
Project Description
For a customer of ours, we need to migrate data from osCommerce 2.2 rc2 to osCommerce 2.3. some fields have been abused for different purposes as the fields were intended for (for example: products_weight in the products table is used as SKU) and some fields are new (for example ean_code in the products table). These changes need to be preserved. The schema of the DB is available as download. The actual DB can be sent by request under non-disclosure. The standard DB of OSC 2.3 can be found on the website of osCommerce.
We also need to do periodical migrations from the new DB (version 2.3) to the old one as other websites are connecting to the old DB for their catalog.

Project Objectives
1. Migrate osCommerce DB from version 2.2 to 2.3,
2. Migrate osCommerce DB from 2.3 to 2.2 periodically (every hour)

Week 3: Deployment to our server
Week 4: Test Runs + Documentation
Week 5: Project Complete
Deviation from the planning is unacceptable, except for outperforming the planning and exceptional circumstances.
Remarks
We will put the money for the selected developer into escrow and release upon the following schedule:
After Demo, release escrow part 1
After successfull deployment and demo on our test server, release escrow part 2
After succesfully completed test runs (three) on our test server, release escrow part 3
After delivery of documentation, release escrow part 4
Payment will only be made after a fase is complete. If work cannot be completely done, no payment will be made and project will be cancelled.
