We have a tracking system, which collects stats about visitors to sites in real-time mode and displays it to users. Somewhat similar to Google Analytics. It is written on ASP.net and has a MSSQL db (Express 2005).
However when large amounts of data are collected, the loading speed becomes slow, timeouts appear and the application crashes at user end.
We need to optimize quiries which come to the db and caching on the server.
