I am trying to fill an ecommerce store with products. My distributor has online supplies. They are not laid out like a catalog so I am having a hard time ripping it.
Its about 6 main catagories. Several sub cats, Several sub sub cats.
Catagory-> sub catagory-> sub catagory-> products
The products are listed in a column. each has a link to open a pop up with image, descriptions etc.
I have been saving descripts to a text file and images to designated folder to upload to my server. and placing everything in excel spreadsheet with image paths. There has to be an easier faster way to do this.
My distributor does not offer data feeds.
I have a very very small budget. There will be alot of work for me even after scraping, because I have to log on to distrib site to view pricing and more to add to spread sheet
