I need a very experienced team of programmers to design, create and build a new website.
The purpose of this website is to be an online directory of manufacturers of small goods and gifts. The people that will visit this site are owners of gift shops and small furniture stores who are looking for new products for their stores. Our main customer is the manufacturer/supplier that will be paying a small fee to advertise their products on this website. This is NOT an online store. The visitor will have to contact the advertised supplier to purchase products. This website is only intended for gift shop owners(registration is required). This website is not for regular end consumers. This site is a place for store owners to find suppliers and manufacturers of gifts and home products.
Target Audience:
This website will target owners, managers and buyers of: gift-stores, furniture stores, home-décor type stores, gift shops, stores that sell trinkets etc. Mainly cater to bricks-and-mortar stores but can also sell to mail order and online retailers. While access to the site is free, the user must register their company on the website.
Customers: Suppliers, manufacturers, and primary distributors of products and/or services that cater to the audience or visitors to the website. Most manufacturers will be companies in the US.

Each customer (the manufacturer or supplier) will have one dedicated profile page(similar to Facebook and Alibaba) showing the products they offer. This page will show their company logo, company information, contact information, address, email etc. It will also show 10 pictures with prices and descriptions of the products they offer. When the customer signs up for the service, they will create their profile page (similar to facebook). All profile pages will have the same structure and same features. Other features on the profile pages: keywords, website url, pricing information etc.
When a visitor views the website and is looking for products, they will be offered 3 main categories: Home Furniture & Decor, Wholesale Gifts and Luxury Goods.

When the visitor selects the sub-category, they will be sent to a page showing all of the products offered in that sub-category. When the user clicks on one of the products, they will be sent to the Profile Page of the manufacturer to view pricing information and terms.
Option: I think it would be a good idea to have an automated gallery (15 pictures) on the front page of each sub-category page to display the different products.
Please remember the purpose of this website is to offer the visitor a website to locate new products and manufacturers of these products. Similar to Alibaba.com and todl.com
This website needs to load fast and operate very fast. It should be very user friendly and easy to navigate.
I would like SEO to be integrated in the design also.
