We are looking for a talented Joomla expert who can do the following:
1) Migrate an entire site in Joomla 1.0.15 to a new domain in Joomla 1.5, this includes all virtuemart products, around 20 or so.
2) When entire site is migrated we need the Joomla 1.5 site cloned back to the original site where Joomla 1.0.15 was.
No need to add or delete or construct a site, simple migration from one site to another with an upgrade.
We can do this ourselves but have no time.
This should be less than 1 days work, we have seen others do exactly what we need in a few hours.
After the migration everything should work, there are no customised components, only Virtuemart.
Importantly, in VM we need all orders to be migrated across with the new site, and as well all our customers including logins and passwords.
If you wish to bid on this project, here are our terms:
1) You only get paid AFTER the work is completed, we have been around freelancers for too long, pay up front and you get slack work, if you get work done, too many bad freelancers ruin it for good ones.
2) We do NOT pay any partial fee’s upfront – simple – do the work get paid. In a normal job you do not get paid upfront, no employers will pay you for work you have not done yet, this is exactly how we work.
3) You MUST have a paypal account, this is the only way we will pay you, no paypal account no payment, simple. If you do not have a paypal account then go open one it is free to do so.
4) You MUST be contactable via MSN or Yahoo, no ifs or buts, if you are uncontactable for more than a few hours you FORFEIT this job. We need someone who is reliable and knows how to communicate.
5) You MUST be able to speak and understand ENGLISH well – not broken english, not a mix of english and some other language, if we cannot communicate effectively on first meeting you will not get this job, we do not have the time to waste giving someone directions and they are unable to understand.
6) We know what this job is worth, you bid too high you get banned from any future work with us, we currently have 8 – 10 jobs that need completing, not all joomla though.
7) If you ask us for payment and the job is not done, you will get banned from future work with us, and if you ask for payment in a private message upfront, you will get banned as well.
8) We want ONLY 3 examples of your joomla work – any more than 3 examples we will delete you bid, make your responses ORIGINAL and NOT CUT N PASTE responses.If your joomla examples are not operating then we will delete your bid.
We do not fool around, we are a professional company dealing with professional clients, if you want to work with us then act professional and you will get paid and treated well and with respect, if you give us headaches, you will not get bugger all.
